  EXPERT ADVICE

Subject: Heat-up time

Q. How long will my spa take to heat-up once it has been filled?

A. Most spas will heat-up six to eight degrees per hour. As an example, lets say the water your spa was filled with came out of the tap at 50oF and you want your spa water temperature to be 104oF. That means the spa water needs to be heated-up 54oF. 54 heat-up degrees divided by a seven degree temperature rise per hour equals approximately eight hours heat-up time.
